At Cumberland College, we are proud to deliver high-quality education to GCSE and A-Level students through a personalised, flexible, and supportive learning environment. Based in North West London, our college is easily accessible by local buses and Tube services, and welcomes students from all backgrounds in a friendly and inclusive setting.
Our Teaching Approach
We specialise in small-group, focused instruction for GCSE and A-Level subjects, ensuring that every student receives the attention they deserve. Our class sizes are deliberately small — typically just 4 to 6 students per group — allowing for personalised support and interactive learning.
Students are taught by highly experienced subject specialists who are committed to academic excellence and individual growth. Whether your child is aiming for top grades or needs extra help to reach their potential, our teaching team is here to guide and inspire.
Flexible Learning – In Class or Online
All of our lessons are delivered face to face, in our well-equipped classrooms. However, we understand that flexibility is key. If a student is unable to attend in person, the session will be live-streamed online, ensuring they never miss a class.
Even better — every lesson is also recorded and made available for later review, so students can catch up or reinforce their understanding whenever they need to.

Assessment and Progress Tracking
At Cumberland College, we believe that regular feedback is essential to student success. All students benefit from:

- Termly mock tests to prepare for real exam conditions
- An annual academic report to track strengths, improvements, and next steps
This approach helps students stay motivated, identify areas for improvement, and develop strong study habits ahead of final exams

Every student has access to our state-of-the-art LMS, which includes:
